Construction Site Supervisor
- Communicate with senior management, engineers and clients to relay accurate job-status information and ensure proper installations on scopes of work
- Communicate with subcontractors to ensure accurate scheduling and adherence to safety, scopes of work, and adherence to standard operating procedures
- Track quality control by “inspecting what you expect” throughout the work day
- Track and order material as needed
- Maintain a SAFE, clean and organized job site
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA standards and Regal guidelines for site safety and proper PPE for all individuals on each job
- Limit risk and exposure
- Alert management to any requested change order prior to approving or starting additional work and devise accurate scope of work, with quantities, pictures/videos/pricing, etc.
- Track change orders, inspections, mark-outs and job site incidents
- Utilize company software to track all job-related functions daily, including but not limited to: scope of work, change orders, weather, subcontractor attendance, progress, photos, expenses, incidents, weekly reports, and alerting back office when tasks are ready to be invoiced
- Provide detailed scopes of work for every site visit and document as per SOP
- Perform a site visit/walkthrough to fully understand the scope of work prior to job start as needed
- Review, devise questions and have full clarity on plans prior to beginning a project to ensure all specifications are met with precision; if any items need clarification, it is the Site Supervisor’s responsibility to communicate this need with management and/or engineer of record
- Ensure all permits are posted at job sites prior to beginning work; if they are not there, it is the supervisor’s responsibility to locate/find out why
- Ensure plans/permit close outs are returned to the office upon job completion
- Track unused job-site materials and communicating with management plans to store, return or discard
